Having bought this game with a friend we hoped to enjoy coop but alas, it didnt work. No matter what we tried, no info on port forwardning, using tunngle/hamachi etc didnt work aswell.Thinking I atleast would get some value for the cash spent I started singleplayer only to be met by horrible FPS.Having received cancer from the main menu and crushed balls from the ingame FPS I would not recommend this game to anyone (in its current state)1/10. They're forcing me to write this send hel.... The first thing you have to realize when playing this game is that it's new. There are some bugs and glitches but that's common when you are dealing with new releases. That being said, I had a lot of fun playing it. There are 4 characters to choose from. Rotheart is a pumpkin man with magical abilities. Mrs Groundfire is a little old lady with a cute assortment of guns. Boris Porkov a hacking and slashing Hog. And Sonny Ricochet Banani, a monkey packing some serious heat. Sonny was probably my favorite to play. His Molotov did a a heap of damage. There are two ways to play. You can either play survival mode or crypt mode. In survival mode you are basically killing to gain power that will activate portals. Crypt mode is basically a maze you have to survive till the end. Crypt mode was probably my favorite. It was more of a challenge maneuvering through the crypt killing while staying alive and not falling into the many traps. I definitely recommend this game. It was fun, challenging, and cute to look at.. I uh.... I'm not sure what I expected.Look, I'm the kinda guy that enjoys really bad budget PS2 games. I can find joy in even hastily slapped together unity\/unreal assets strung together with some basic semblance of gameplay.So the issue here is, this game isn't really functional. If you pick the "dark forest" level you immediately fall through the floor, so that stage is non-functional. The character select screen doesn't properly show which character you picked unless you're in the "crypt" game mode. Objective game mode is borderline unplayable because enemies spawn in too fast and there's no feedback to indicate what you're doing is correct. I spent a long time channeling energy into one portal in the village map and nothing happened.So really the only fun in this game is if you select wave based survival, and even then you have one less map than advertised because the forest map is completely unplayable. Also even if you're in wave based mode, the intro to each stage that tells you the objectives still plays and is unskippable.If this game had no glitches, I would actually recommend it as a cute little "baby's first unreal game" sorta thing. I want my money back.. I like this game but it has its bugs. Also trying to use the main menu is painful.There are audio and menu issues and bugs but they arent too bad. I had fun playing the game. I would get it, dunno about you though.Its sort of a good shooter if you ask me, if some things would get fixed it could be even better. Why are you looking at the reviews?
